a rare printed fan, the leaf a hand-coloured etching of La Nation, Le Prince de Conde, Le Comte D'Artois and Mirabeau-Tonneau at a table playing Piquet, with an enseign La Nation, La Loi, Le Roi, below a phrygian cap, with eight stanzas of a song of their conversation about the constitution and diplomacy whilst they play the game, to the Air: Le Piquet m'est agreeable, with wooden sticks - 11in.
