A Collection of plated Leica cameras The following nine lots were produced by Isaac S. Maizenberg of Continental Camera, Skokie, Illinois, USA, between 1990 and 1992. Using original Leica cameras Maizenberg undertook a meticulous and careful stripping down of each camera before cleaning, plating and refinishing the cameras. The plating and finish have been produced to a very high standard. Each camera is accompanied with a dated certificate detailing the camera, lens, quality and thickness of the plating. See frontispiece on page 6.
