廉亮，一九五八年生於江蘇吳縣，早年師承番禺李天馬先生，從事鑑賞、收藏行業多年，後為陳佩秋弟子，現任上海書畫院畫師。廉亮善以古風入畫，筆下庭園寧靜典雅，常以淡墨或淡色畫竹，竹葉或展或卷，竹枝或直或彎，有疏淡清雅之韻味，蒼翠華滋之感。他以細膩的筆法，用淡墨去勾勒湖石，加以皴染，清雅含蘊，有寧靜溫馨的詩情。

2013 Broadway International Art Center, Shanghai, China (group)
Born in Wuxian, Jiangsu in 1958, Lian Liang studied classical Chinese painting under Li Tianma and has been known as a connoisseur and collector of the genre. A practicing calligrapher, he later became a student of Chen Peiqiu and currently serves as an artist in residence at the Shanghai Academy of Painting and Calligraphy. The classical appeal of Lian's still-life originates from his lightly coloured bamboo branches, delicately delineated rocks and meticulously rendered birds. Inspired by the fine brush tradition of the bird-and-flower painting, his scholarly works are lyrical and poetic with a contemporary look.
