with widely flaring rim and short foot, painted to the interior with a bearded scholar seated beside a set of albums, the exterior with a continuous scene of two officials on a terrace overlooking a further figure leading a saddled horse, accompanied by two attendants carrying a sword and a spear -- 8in.
