Decorated overall with scrolling flowers, foliage and sprays of flowers, the barrelled hinged lid with loop handle stamped to the top GR below a coronet and enclosing a patterned paper-lined interior, the sides and front decorated with further coronets and the front with pierced C-scroll escutcheon, replacements to the leather, the front with remains of wax seal, later pine runners
