Of George II style the eared triangular top above a plain frieze and an open compartment, above a door simulated as two tiers of leather bound books, the angles with a maiden's mask below an Ionic capital and with a trail of fruits and flowers, the plinth with egg-and-dart banding, extended in depth with various associated replacements
