Later decorated overall with foliate swags, arabesques, ribbon-tied musical trophies and putto emblematic of Sculpture and Painting and classical maidens emblematic of Fame and Justice, the superstructure with galleried and balustraded rectangular top above three further speading tiers, the base section with moulded top above a secretaire-drawer painted with a relief of a wing putto in a procession and enclosing a fitted interior with blue felt-lined writing-surface, seven pigeon holes and five cedar-lined satinwood drawers painted with further foliate trails, above a further drawer and two doors with crossbanded ovals enclosing one shelf, on a waved apron and splayed feet, restorations, the decoration late 19th Century, the superstructure associated and with later restorations, previously with a further drawer to the fitted interior, with remains of label
