The later crossbanded top above two short fitted drawers and a turned shaft with three spreading moulded downswept legs terminating in brass caps and castors, possibly part of a larger table (see below)

Lot Essay

The corner table is veneered with inlaid banding on both straight sides. Both sides have two plugged holes and the underside shows evidence of previous fittings to the angles, possibly hinges. It is probable that this table formed part of a larger, possibly round table.
