Feather-banded overall, the moulded cornice above two later glazed doors enclosing three adjustable shelves and four short concave-fronted drawers, above the fall-front enclosing a black leather-lined writing-surface and a fitted interior with a central door, eight pigeon-holes and nine drawers, the lower section with a long drawer above two short and two further graduated long drawers, on bracket feet, restorations to the veneer, adapted to its present form probably in the 18th Century including the replacement of the bun feet, depository label to the reverse S.MOODY AND CO.
