The burgundy field with a counterposed design of scrolling tendrils linking palmettes, small rosettes and occasional cloudband, in a deep bottle-green border of palmette roundels alternating with light blue rosette cartouches between light blue and burnt orange floral meander stripes, replaced ends, extensive repiling, some repairs, considerable wear, replaced selvages
Approximately 6ft.10in. x 4ft.6in. (208cm. x 136cm.)

Warp: cotton, Z4S, 3 strands ivory, and 1 strand light blue with ivory
Weft:ivory cotton, Z2, 1 and 3 slightly undulating, 2 strongly undulating
Pile: wool, Z2, the red, light blue, and pale yellow, sometimes Z3, asymmetrical open to the left, H4 x V3.7/cm.
