Having two cream bands with polychrome palmette and arabesque floral vine flanked by two cranberry-red bands of similar decoration, two border fragments from same carpet sewn together, bound edges, areas of heavy wear
Approximately 2ft.3in. x 2ft.4in. (69cm. x 71cm.)

Weft: cotton, white, Z10S, strongly depressed, hardly undulating
Weft: 3 shoots white cotton, first and third Z5S lightly undulating, second Z4S strongly undulating
Pile: wool, Z2, in the green-blue at times Z3, asymmetrical open to the left, H4.8 x V5.2/cm.
