The pale indigo and jade-green hexagonal medallion on a rose field with muted polychrome ascending floral vines and rosettes flanked by pale indigo floral spray-filled spandrels and walnut brown cloudband and flowerhead rectangular reserves all within an ivory palmette and floral meander border between jade-green and russet floral meander guard borders and multiple guard stripes, areas of wear, minor repairs
Approximately 6ft. 6in. x 4ft. 7in. (198cm. x 140cm.)

Warp: wool, white, Z2S, slightly depressed and undulating
Weft: 2 shoots, one undulating, the second more strongly undulating, wool, white, Z2S
Pile: wool, Z1, cotton, white, Z1, symmetrical inclining to the left, H3.2 x V6.2/cm.
Sides: Additional green wool shoot, Z1 bound together with two additional warp threads, the foundation shoot wound around a warp thread
Ends: C. 1.5cm. canvas binding with green wool, Z1.
Remarks: lazy lines.
