The deep brick-red mihrab with a central polychrome hanging floral pendant beneath a column-supported blue-grey arch filled with stylized floral buds with cinnamon-brown floral cross-panels above and below, in a cream floral spray border, multiple guard stripes, even wear overall, slight damage to selvages
Approximately 5ft. 5in. x 3ft. 7in. (165cm. x 109cm.)

Warp: cotton, white, ivory, Z3S, slightly undulating and layered
Weft: 2 shoots, cotton, pink, white, ivory, Z3S
Pile: wool, Z2, partly Z3, symmetrical inclining to the left
Sides: additional ivory and blue-green wool shoot, Z2S, bound together with a warp thread, pair of warp threads and another warp thread, the foundation weft wound around a warp thread
Ends: upper; C. 4cm. canvas binding, green wool Z2S and ivory wool, Z3 lower; c. 2.5 cm. as upper.
