The brick-red key-hole shaped mihrab spotted with muted polychrome flowerheads beneath a cream palmette-filled arch, a maize-yellow border of polychrome palmettes and floral vine, areas of wear, partial ends and sides, ragged slits to ends, repairs throughout
Approximately 5ft.2in. x 3ft.10in. (157cm. x 117cm.)

Warp: wool, white, Z2S, slightly undulating
Weft: 2 shoots, sometimes 3, wool, red, Z1, undulating
Pile: wool, Z2, sometimes Z3 in aubergine and yellow, symmetrical inclining to the left, H2.2 x V2.8/cm.
Remarks: lazy lines, weft and row adjustments.
