The abrashed brick-red field with a polychrome herati design overall flanked by small cream spandrels within a corroded walnut brown palmette and floral meander vine border between aubergine and cream floral guard stripes, corroded browns, slight even surface wear, minor partial ends, overcast sides)
Approximately 9ft. 6in. x 4ft. 7in. (289cm. x 140cm.)

Warp: white cotton, Z5S, slightly depressed, undulating
Weft: 2 shoots, white cotton, Z3S, undulating
Pile: wool, Z2, the blue partly Z3, asymmetrical open to the left, H3.3 x V4.8/cm.
