The indigo field with two columns of angular split branches issuing bunches of grapes and radiating vine leaves, in a burgundy border of meandering flowering and leafy vine with inner indigo or burgundy floral meander stripe and outer mill-pattern stripe, reduced in length, areas of wear and tinting
Approximately 6ft.6in. x 6ft. (193cm. x 183cm.)

Warp: ivory cotton, Z1, in areas of design strongly undulating
Weft: 2 shoots ivory cotton, Z1, slightly undulating
Design wefts: looped wool, Z2-3, H2.0 x V2.4/cm.
Sides: formed of cut ground and design wefts
Ends: plainweave
