A large French ormolu and silvered bronze garniture
Last quarter 19th Century
Comprising a clock and a pair of ten-light candelabra: the clock in the form of three putti supporting a terrestial globe surmounted by an eagle and owl, with applied Roman numerals and twin-train movement, on a shaped foliate-cast base hung with foliate swags and on scrolled feet; the candelabra each as three cornucopiae-bearing putti, supporting ten foliate and berry-cast branches, each terminating with a leaf-cast drip-pan and nozzle, on conforming base
The clock: 15in. (38cm.) wide; 36in. (91.3cm.) high; 12½in. (31.6cm.) deep
