The domed pediment surmounted by a figure of Father Time holding a long scythe, above a pair of baluster finials and a pair of lion-mask brackets, the circular brass dial with enamel numeral plaquettes and five-minute markers, with cast centre, the twin-train movement with strike on a gong, the trunk with glazed pendulum aperture and canted angles, above stepped plinth
