The nymph reclining beside a pool, holding aloft a branch, the basin cast with a mask fitted with a fountain spout, opposite a fish, also with a fountain spout, the oval basin naturalisticily cast and signed Louis Oury and by the foundry USINE VOYAVE. ST. AMER, BRUXELLES

Lot Essay

Louis Oury was born in Montaubon and exhibited at the Salon at the turn of the century, winning an honourable mention in 1898.
