The globular body painted in blue and outlined in manganese with three oval medallions of Oriental mountainous wooded river landscapes with exotic buildings, a pagoda, palm-trees and with figures in sampans, on a ground of scrolling flowers and foliage, the medallions divided by winged angel's heads, the ribbed flared neck painted with flowers and with a divided rope-twist loop handle, the hinged pewter cover with ball thumbpiece (minute glaze blemishes to lip, handle and shoulder, slight chip to foot)
