Of flared form and decorated con basso relievo istoriato with the winged Lion of St. Mark, the reverse with a portrait bust of the Roman Emperor above a band of radiating stiff leaves and between gilt line rims, the domed cover with scattered flower-sprays and with pink rose finial (the vase cracked from rim in two places, finial chipped), faded iron-red anchor mark
