A GERMAN HUNTING-SWORD, A FRENCH HUNTING-SWORD, AND A SPANISH SPORTING PLUG BAYONET

The first etched on each side of the forte 'Utile a la guerre necessaire a la chasse a lamour' (sic), and with brass hilt with knuckle-guard and down-curved shell, and tapering horn grip; the second etched on each side of the blade with scrollwork and scenes of the chase, and with silver-mounted ebony grip, and later leather scabbard; the last with etched hollow-ground blade, the hilt with gilt-brass mounts, and ebony and horn grip, in leather scabbard with brass chape and later copper locket
