With rebrowned twist barrels signed on the rib and stamped under each breech with the barrelsmith's mark (Neue Støckel 1233), the under-rib with the date and the serial number 7456, signed case-hardened back-action locks (hammers repaired) finely decorated with a raised design of scrolling foliage involving swans repelling serpents, all on a matted ground, the inner side of each plate serial numbered and dated, Lefaucheux-type action, underlever and fore-end decorated en suite with the locks with a design of foliage inhabited by birds and monsters, figured walnut butt, chequered grip, iron mounts (some light pitting) en suite with the locks and action, including trigger-guard with gold owner's crest, a sea-lion sejeant, and iron sling mounts
