With etched twist sighted barrel (sights replaced) with four raised longitudinal ribs and signed in gold on the top flat of the breech behind the back-sight, inlaid with two gold lines and a small panel of strapwork at the rear, and with pillar breech engraved with scrollwork on a hatched ground, long tang en suite engraved with a hind in a wooded landscape and inlaid with silver escutcheon, shaped back-action lock signed in gold, engraved with a recumbent stag and fitted with engraved pivoting safety-stop (hammer cracked), figured walnut full stock with carved cheek piece, the grip chequered with a basket-weave pattern, scroll engraved iron mounts including shaped hinged patch-box cover engraved with a boar in a landscape, the trigger-guard with applied pierced scrolled dark horn tang, set trigger, iron sling mounts, horn fore-end cap (damaged), and original wooden ramrod with white-metal tip
