With fluted etched twist turn-off barrels, scroll engraved actions and folding triggers, and carved fluted ebony butts (one repaired) each with iron pommel: in lined and fitted case with accessories including white-metal cap dispenser, the exterior of the lid inlaid with a shield-shaped plate engraved with addorsed initials 'SC' surrounded by the presentation inscription 'Zum Andenken am 4t u 6t September zu 1858 Gräfenberg' ('In memory of the 4th and 6th of September 1858 at Gräfenberg'), Liège proof marks
