The first with twist octagonal sighted barrel rifled with sixteen grooves, scroll engraved case-hardened breech, tang and back-action lock, figured walnut half-stock with fluted butt, scroll engraved case-hardened mounts including shaped pommel with suspension ring, spur trigger-guard, and fore-end cap, and stirrup ramrod, Liège proof mark, the second with octagonal sighted barrel of small bore with aperture in front of the fore-end giving access to the nipple, brass breech and tang in one, plain back-action lock, wooden half-stock (butt repaired), and brass mounts comprising spur trigger-guard and shaped pommel with baluster finial
