The pink gilt movement jewelled to the centre with free sprung gold alloy balance, blued steel flat hairspring and ruby endstone, inscribed Kew A Tested, the white dial with alternating baton and raised gilt Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and luminous hands, in typical steel oyster case with screw down winder and screwed back and maker's flexible steel bracelet and deployant clasp, case, dial and movement signed

According to the records of Kew Trials held at the time, a number of special movements with a diameter of 23.7 mm. and with movement numbers in the series 4100-4200 were tested at Kew between the years 1948 and 1950. Other manufacturers represented in these tests were Vacheron Constantin, Omega, Longines and Charles Aerni of Le Locle.
