FIRST EDITION of Benacci's description of the entry of Clement VIII into Bologna and of the work carried out before his arrival in building new triumphal arches and embellishing existing buildings. The second edition appeared in the following year with an extra etching. Cicognara 1402 ('opusculo prezioso'); Vinet 587; Berlin Kat. 3038; cf. Mortimer, Harvard Italian 50 (1599 edition).
