Cardinal Federico BORROMEO. Il Libro Intitolato la gratia de' principi. Milan: [privately printed], 1632. Small 2° (279 x 188mm). Engraved title vignette by Blancus, woodcut decorations (including a full-page tailpiece incorporating various elements of the Borromeo arms) and initials.

The two works uniformly bound in near-contemporary red morocco gilt, the covers with wide decorative borders enclosing the centrally blocked arms of Pope Clement X (1670-1676), g.e. (spines slightly faded and very lightly wormed). Fine copies of privately printed works by the founder of the Biblioteca Ambrosiana. (2)
