Titles in red and black with hand-coloured engraved vignettes, 3 engraved frontispieces, 2 engraved dedications and 301 plates (31 folding) by G.Cassini and others, finely hand-coloured throughout, engraved head- and tailpieces and initials, all but two initials hand-coloured, one plain plate and 4 tables (one folding) in volume III. (Vol.I: foremargin of frontispiece close-shaved and repaired, slight damage to margins of title and four following leaves, 230mm. repaired tears to leaves D1-E4, tear in plate CII; vol.II: lower corner of k3 torn away, tear to plate CXLIII; vol.III: 70mm. repaired tear to blank margin of K3.)
