An early edition of Savonarola's exposition on the Lord's Prayer, in which he set out his philosophy on meditative prayer and outlined the stages (lectio, meditatio, oratio, contemplatio) leading to internal peace. Savonarola composed this work in Latin in 1494. It appeared in an Italian translation in several undated editions and in one printed in 1494 by Miscomini. Goff dated the present edition to ca. 1490, but that clearly cannot be correct. Most recently, CIBN dated it to between 1494 and September 1495.
