Red morocco by Trautz-Bauzonnet, spine in six compartments, lettered in two, gilt turn-ins, g.e. (very slightly scuffed). Provenance: Ios. Cavalieri (bookplate).
FIRST EDITION of this rare work. Although no printer has been identified, the crisp, bold typography is one of the principal beauties of the edition. Brunet V, 505-6 ('Edition fort rare'); Sander 7061 (describing the format as 4°).
