YOSHITOSHI (1839-92): three oban tate-e, all approx. 37 x 25cm., from the series Tsuki hyakushi, 'The hundred phases of the moon', one of a Heian lady waiting for her lover, another of Kintoki officiating at a wrestling match between a hare and a monkey, the third of Fujiwara Hirai-no Yasumasa playing his flute unaware of his brother behind him who wants to kill him--good impression and colour, two slightly soiled, and one with wear to margin, otherwise in good condition (3)
