KUNISADA AND EIZAN: oban tate-e, 37.3 x 25.6cm., from the set Toji komei kaiseki zukushi 'Famous restaurants', a standing woman with green wisteria-pattern kimono, signed Gototei Kunisada ga, published by Yamaguchiya Tobei; another, 38.5 x 26.2cm., possibly a sheet from a triptych, two young women with a scroll and a poem card, a child between them; another, 37.2 x 25.5cm., a sheet from a triptych, two women, one holding a parcel and the other a rein; and another, 38.9 x 25.9cm., a bust portrait of a courtesan holding a wad of paper, the last three signed Kikugawa Eizan hitsu--generally good impressions and colour, except the last which is faded (4)
