The blade honzukuri, iorimune with medium point (chugissaki), torii-zori, the forging pattern itame hada, tempered edge of choji midare, probably Sukesada school, unsigned ubu tang, (slight chip, rust to the boshi), 46cm.; with a nerikawa tsuba and the scabbard, fuchi-kashira with moulded scabbard ornament of leather, an iron kozuka, (rust, the kurikata missing)
