Mrs Pinto (née Charlotte Brent) was the daughter of a fencing master and alto singer. She sang in a number of different productions - performing in Tom Jones on 14 January 1768. In the Autumn of 1766 she became the second wife of Thomas Pinto. Despite acquiring a substantial fortune during her lifetime, she died in poverty on 10 April 1802.
