Manuscript on buff paper, 49ff., each with 5ll. of strong black sini, punctuation in red, gold rosettes between verses, double red ruled margins, sura headings in red, occasional marginal medallions in polychrome and gold (some smudging, staining, worm damage), opening gold, blue and red illumintaed bifolio (some cracking), original lacquer binding, painted in gold with a central flowerhead, in a border of similar scrolling floral motifs, under a rich dark lacquer (cracked and worn)
