Mystical exposition of Islam through versified anecdotes, legends and parables, Persian manuscript on paper, 305ff. each with 25ll. of flowing black nasta'liq arranged in four columns, between gold margins, gold outer rule, occasional sentences and overlining in red, gold and polychrome headings with gold floral borders, final folio with colophon signed Muhammad Amin Tabrizi bin Mansur and dated 1055, six ink drawings heightened with gold, the first of the illustrations with inscription reading drawn according to the work of my master Sadiq Beg, (some smudging, light staining, restorations), in original tan stamped morocco binding (rather scuffed) , later paper doublures

The original of the first illustration is by Sadiq Beg who headed the atelier of Shah Abbas, and was later replaced by Reza. It is now in the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston (Schulz P.W.:Die persisch-islamische Miniaturmalerei, Leipzig 1914, pl.148).
