The curving tapering double-edged watered steel blade with medial ridge and gold damascened inscription and floral cartouches above, the waisted walrus ivory hilt carved on one side with Rustam killing the white div and with him rending his beard in sorrow at having killed his son Sohrab on the other, inscription cartouches above and below, slight discolouration, the wooden sheath covered with Kirman cloth, the steel mounts with simple gold damascened floral sprays in a meandering floral border, sheath possibly later, slight damages
