1973 RANGE ROVER "CAMPER" BY CARMICHAEL
Registration No. DBY 669M
Chassis No. 35601108 B
Engine No. 35510800 B

This extraordinary Camper is based on a production Range Rover that had a six wheel conversion by Carmichael. It was designed for a Saudi Arabian Prince for touring throughout the Middle East and Europe and is fitted with a shower, hand basin and a double bed although the shower may need some minor plumbing before use. It has swivel seats which fully recline, red velour button upholstery throughout and fibre optics built into each button in the ceiling to give a twinkling star effect! Extras include eight track stereo, Blaupunkt remote FM radio, public address system and television. As converted, it features magnificent customised paintwork and a rear stained glass window. The vendor has spent £3,300 on the car within the last twelve months.
With a few modifications, it perhaps would make the ideal overnight tow vehicle for your racing equipe!
