Of octagonal baluster form and on a rim foot, the upper part of the body and the cover each chased with a broad frieze of strapwork and arabesques, the rising curved spout decorated with a chased foliate frieze with a mounted wood scroll handle and compressed wood finial, the underside engraved with initials and also with later presentation inscription, marks untraced
