Each with foliate-trailed, channelled cartouche-shaped padded back, scrolled arms and compass-fronted seat covered in close-nailed associated Beauvais tapestry, woven in wools and silks, the backs woven with La Fontaine's fables depicting the stork and the fox, the seat woven with a stag drinking, a boar and a donkey, above a foliate-trailed waved seat-rail and on cabriole legs and scroll feet, restorations, re-gilt, later blocks, each stamped F.GENY, variations in carving (2)
