A NORTH ITALIAN WALNUT BUREAU

Banded overall and with moulded rims, the later rectangular top above a writing-slope enclosing a fitted interior with a writing-surface, four shaped and variously-sized drawers, three pigeon-holes flanked by later columns and a sliding well with two further small drawers, above three serpentine drawers with brass handles and escutcheons, on a moulded base and later bracket feet, the top section extensively restored and possibly adapted, minor losses to the veneer
