The waved moulded cornice above a shaped panelled frieze and an S-scrolled panelled door enclosing a removable shelf, the central long drawer above a conforming door with a further shelf, on a shaped apron and cabriole legs centred by a spiral rosette, with label to the reverse indistinctly inscribed in ink "Envoi de le Meuter/autios fuaine Place Duofuescheis/Amiens @ Monsieur Morvau fils Transitaire ce female/fau J.Malo J. Malo Faire suivre par batteau sur Jersey/....de la Trinite Manoir de le Trinite Jersey Domicile... Le Anglaise" and a dealer's label inscribed G.WINTER-ANTIQUITES/../SAINT-BRIEUC (Cotes-du-Nord), and inscribed in ink "Monsieur de la Trinite Manoir de la Trinite/Jersey", dated 12 June 1924, and a shippers label dated 1924, the back feet partially replaced
