The rectangular white marble top with pierced trellis gallery and three panelled drawers, above the rolltop enclosing three pigeon holes, three drawers and a sliding black leather-lined writing-surface, the sides with slides above a central drawer and the kneehole flanked by two short drawers to the left and a deep drawer to the right simulated as two drawers, on fluted turned tapering fluted legs brass caps and castors, the marble with restored break, the deep drawer previously fitted, the underside inscribed CM2 and the castors stamped COPE/..../PATENT/STRONG, one drawer inscribed GARDENS, another WOLVESEY and a further WINCHESTER
