The rectangular superstructure with lumacchella marble top above three frieze-drawers with flaming quivers and foliate mounts, the rolltop enclosing a fitted interior and sliding writing-surface, four drawers and three simulated drawers and a central well, the central drawer flanked by two further drawers on the left and one drawer simulated as two to the right, enclosing a strong-box and a divided oak tray, the sides with slides, on later ormolu sphinx-supports and concave-sided plinth with pilaster back legs, restorations, partially re-mounted, the plinth partially replaced
