A French ormolu-mounted white marble lyre-shaped mantel clock
Second half 19th Century
Surmounted by a pair of eagle-heads, the lyre-shaped support hung with a fruit and foliate festoon and mounted to each side by a putto, the drum-shaped case surmounted by a crest of foliage, a flambeau and a quiver, the bezel inset with a band of paste with a white enamel dial and Arabic numerals, with pierced hands, the twin-train movement with countwheel strike on a bell, on stepped oval foot hung with foliate swags and with an inset panel of scrolling foliage, on bun feet
