A French silvered metal hall lantern
Late 19th/Early 20th Century
Of hexagonal shape, with scrolled top, above a pierced frieze of shield-bearing putti, above the bevelled glass panels, each cut to the centre with an oval, the angles each with a herm fluted column terminating in a grotesque beast monopodiae, the scrolled underside headed by winged masks, with ring terminal, fitted for electricity for three lights, with two un-bevelled replacement glass panels
