Cast from a model by Emile Hébert, Last quarter 19th Century
Depicting two young scantily-clad maidens with flower chains, standing on a chariot intersected by Love's arrow and with a pair of courting doves, on a naturalistic cloud base, signed Emile Hébert, on an oval ormolu-mounted black marble base, the sides inset with foliate-cast guilloche panels between foliate rosettes, on rectangular fluted feet

The plinth: 4½in. (11.5cm.) high
