2° (445 x 275mm.) First title printed in red and black, double-page engraved frontispiece and 42 double-page plates by P. van Jode, P. Clowet, C. Caukercken, L. Vostermans and others after Abraham van Diepenbeeck, woodcut illustrations, initials and ornaments. (Rather browned, more severe to the text, one plate trimmed into left-hand border, a few tears repaired, mostly marginal.) Contemporary mottled calf, spine gilt in compartments (upper hinge split, slightly worn at extremities).
